This model is designed and biomechanically engineered specifically for the natural stride of women via the Atlas Elektra frame which has a more narrow and tapered geometry, ideally facilitating a woman's stride.
The womens' Atlas E10+ Elektra includes all features found on the regular Atlas E10 Elektra model for women. However it also includes a heel lift bar on each shoe, allowing you to tackle much steeper terrain. Simply lift up the heel lift bar on the fly and it instantly provides leg relief and prevents fatigue of the calf muscles. The Atlas E10+ Elektra snowshoes also include Advance Aft traction for superior downhill traction and traversing slippery terrain.
The Atlas E10+ Elektra is truly an all-mountain shoe for maneuvering with ease up and down any vertical and in all kinds of snow conditions like heavy, wet snow, hardpack, deep powder and untracked snow. Includes the specifically molded left / right Atlas Wrapp Plus snowshoe bindings for added warmth and comfort with supportive arches for a secure fit and added snowshoe control. Additional state-of-the-art features such as durable and lightweight V shape aluminum framing with Nytex decking for maximum flotation, control and flexibility even when temperatures drop well below freezing.
