Atlas Snowshoes improves on previous versions of the womens Atlas Elektra 12 snowshoe series with advancements that include a stiffer and more responsive ReactiV 7075 aluminum frame that easily handles any backcountry expedition terrain from one extreme to the other; powdery-soft conditions to crud and icy-steep mountain inclines. You'll be amazed at the Atlas Elektra E12 snowshoe's combination of strength and feather lite flotation. The new frame geometry causes the snowshoe to track perfectly straight with little or no stepping on the inside rails. Molded specifically for the right and left foot, the Wrapp Pro snowshoe bindings also include flexible arch supports that provide both a custom fit for your feet and ultimate control and snowhoe handling. Engineered with Spring-Loaded Suspension which determines the ideal amount of engagement of the sharp crampon prongs and traction rails under your feet to allow for completely natural foot movement and ensures you stay on track in all terrain and conditions. Quickly flip up the heel lift bar on the fly for much easier climbing when hitting the steeps. - Spring-Loaded™ Suspension (SLS) - Suspension allows natural articulation of the foot and deeper crampon penetration for unmatched control and comfort.
- Woman-Specific Wrapp™ Pro Bindings - Specifically molded right and left bindings have flexible arches that cradle and support the inside of your feet for a comfortable and secure fit. Floating tongue indexes on buckle fingers for a perfect fit. Easiest on/off provided by new FlowTape Silicone straps that glide through new aluminum low friction buckles. Bindings are lightweight and foam padded for increased comfort and warmth.
- Stainless Steel Holey-1 Toe Crampon - 3D-formed design allows lighter weight and structural strength. Shovel-like prongs provide increased grip and hold, and sharp end-points provide bite on the iciest of slopes.
- Stainless Steel Advanced Aft Traction - Parallel traction rails under the sides of your feet — where you get the most control — provide increased traction while traversing and also when going downhill.
- Heel lift Bar - When engaged, bar relieves calf muscle fatigue while ascending steep slopes. Bar stores flat when disengaged.
