When you need to pack a pole for snowshoeing, skiing or hiking the all-new 2012 Black Diamond Expedition poles are the answer. These three-section poles contract to a very compact size (ideal for fitting in any backpack, luggage etc.), with a fully usable length to fit all sizes of users and snow depths. The dual slip-proof FlickLocks on the Expedition poles won’t freeze up in even the coldest conditions and are easily adjustable with mittens and gloves on, allowing you to quickly adjust snowshoe pole height to match conditions, terrain and snow depth. All aluminum construction combines light-weight high performance with rugged durability for years and years of use. The all-new Black Diamond Expedition poles have been updated with new Power Series grips with softer materials in the palm zone, new Power Series wrist straps with easy-access design, padded interior, variable-width webbing and new graphics. Large powder baskets also included.
