The 2010 MSR Denali Classic Combo Snow Shoes Kit includes one pair of MSR Denali Classic snowshoes and one pair of MSR Denali III 3-part adjustable snowshoe poles (the ideal complement when snowshoeing, the Denali 3 part snow shoe poles improve stability and balance on uneven terrain and aid when ascending hills).
Denali Classic snow shoes and poles feature durable construction and easy-to-use designs. The snow shoes feature strong, UniDeck™ injection-molded construction that resists icy build-up and durable to last season after season. Mitten and glove friendly strap bindings with heel stabilizers remain pliable and easy to use in cold temperatures. Steel cramp-ons provide positive traction for climbing hills, while multi-toothed steel rails offer grip for traversing side slopes and icy terrain. Molded brakes create a snowplow effect, effectively providing grip for uphill and downhill travel.
Attachable MSR Flotation Tails (sold separately; see accessories below) add extra buoyancy when walking in deep powder snow or carrying heavy loads (refer to chart below).
MSR Denali III's are three-section adjustable poles that can efficiently compact to a short 26" length for easy storage and transport; extend to a maximum length of 57". Snowshoe poles also feature durable, lightweight 7000-series aluminum construction with dual-density ergonomically designed grips, replaceable steel tips and nylon wrist straps.
