The MSR Evo 6" flotation tails are modular tails that work with the MSR Evo snowshoes series that includes the Evo Ascent, Evo Tour and Evo snowshoe models. They simply attach to the rear of each snowshoe deck to provide additional traction and extra flotation in deep snow and/or when carrying a heavy gear pack etc. Sold as a pair.
