The all-new 2012 Tubbs Flex JR kid's snowshoes feature the same popular, award winning Flex tail design and Torsion Deck technology found on the Tubbs Snowshoes Flex adult snowshoes series. The Tubbs Flex JR is designed specifically for boys and girls 40-90 lbs. (5 -10 yrs old). The Flex tail is soft rather than rigid, so each step results in less impact and less stress on children's developing joints. The Torsion Deck allows the frame of the snowshoe to flex torsionally for better traction and comfort on uneven terrain. The Tubbs Flex JR is equipped with toe crampons as well as curved traction rails to ensure superior grip when going up and down hills and when side-hill traversing. A rotating toe cord with rotation limiter means that with each step, the tail will drop just enough to shed snow, but will remain under foot rather than swinging completely away. The QuickLock ratcheting binding is secure and easy to adjust, promoting an “I can do it myself” attitude, and accommodates any children's winter footwear from junior 11 on up to adult men 6.
The Tubbs Flex Junior snowshoes for kids are available in both BOY and GIRL versions (exactly the same features, just different color). Both versions fit children from 40 lbs to 90 lbs. Fits any children's winter footwear from junior 11 on up to adult men 6.
