- Rigid Control System Binding stabilizes the boot on steep ascents and decents. Fast ratchet buckle system is adjustable, BioFit instep pads maintain even pressure to keep toes warm. Adjustable base expands to custom fit up to men's size 13. Optional heel pad (included) accommodates women's size 6-10. Designed for hard shell/performance hiking footwear. - Viper CrampOn System - Stainless steel crampon system is ergonomically centered directly under key areas of impact (forefoot and heel) for maximum grip throughout the stride. Ultra long, razor sharp teeth penetrate wind packed snow and icy pitches. Lateral and tiered heel crampon deliver superior sidehill and downhill traction.
- Rotating Toe Cord - The most efficient pivot system. Zero resistance throughout the stride - tail drops as you pick up your snowshoe, allowing the snow to shed off the back, eliminating fatigue. Maximum crampon penetration - as the tail drops, the nose of the snowshoe rises, allowing the toe crampon to fully grip the snow.
- 7000 Series Aluminum Frame with ArcTec Plus Decking - 7000 Frame is 20% lighter and 57% stronger than industry-standard 6000 Series aluminum. Unique tapered frame for enhanced maneuverability. ArcTec Plus, Tubbs Snowshoes proprietary decking material, is 30% more abrasion and puncture resistant than industry leading ArcTec, with proven durability to -40°F.
